ACCOUNTANT
ALFIO TORRISI
Born in Mascali (CT, Italy) on 16 March 1931,
he qualified as an accountant in 1950. In 1957 he won the
state competition to become a tax attorney with the Financial
Authorities, and was given an initial appointment with the
Milan Direct Tax Office, Corporate section. From 1973 he first
of all qualified as a certified public accountant with the
Milan Board of Accountants, of which he became a non-practising
member, and in 1977 he graduated in law. He remained with
the Financial Authorities for approx. 27 years, working with
direct taxes, especially the corporate sector. In 1984 he
resigned from the Financial Authority in order to be able
to put his expertise and considerable past experience to good
use as a freelance accountant. He has had the opportunity
to provide professional services on tax and corporate matters
for prestigious leading companies in Italy. He worked for the form till the year 2010.
LAWYER AND ACCOUNTANT ALDO TORRISI

Born in Milan, Italy on 10th August 1963, he qualified as
an accountant in 1982. In 1986 qualified to become a member
of the Board of Accountants in Milan. In 1990 he graduated
in law, and in the following years trained with some leading
international law firms. He also worked as an honorary fellow
and assistant in private law at Milan state university for
three years. In 1996 he became qualified to work as a lawyer,
and a member of the Milan Professional Register of Lawyers.
In 1995 he formed partnership with his father,
Certified Public Accountant Alfio Torrisi. He was always worked
on tax-related matters, using his knowledge of the field from
his accountancy and legal background. His qualified as a lawyer
meant that he could dedicate his skills ot tax litigation
and tax and corporate law consultancy. Equally, thanks to
his first qualification, he has always been able to do the
purely accountancy-related work of preparing and filing tax
documentation and providing consultancy in tax-related matters.
Since 2005 he has worked with the financial newspaper Sole24Ore
as a trainer for course specialising in tax issues.
Since 2015 performs his profession individually.
LAWYER FEDERICO FONZI
Works occasionally with the Law firm.
Born in Pesaro on 23rd August 1974, he studied at the Classical
Lycée in his city, and graduated in law from the Univserity
of Bologna in 1999, with a thesis entitled "Le fusioni
di società nell’imposizione sui redditi, profili
comunitari e comparati – Corporate mergers in tax –
community profiles compared".
In 2002 he qualified to practice law.
In 2002, he graduated with an ‘A. Berliri’ Master
degree from the University of Bologna.
He worked as a freelance with several law firms in his city,
and since 2004 with the Studio Torrisi.
A columnist for the law review ‘Flaminia’, he
has published pubblicato "Stabile organizzazione e centro
di attività stabile: differenze e congruenze. Rilevanza
del controllo societario – Stable organisation and stable
centre of activity – similarities and difference. The
relevance of corporate control". He has other articles
in the pipeline on the effectiveness of tax sentences and
the extension of the ‘tombstone amnesty’, both
comments on sentences of the Tax Commissions. He alse writes article in colaboration with the financial guide "Memento Ipsoa Francis Lafebvre" for many years. |
